We, too, have a blog now. Hurray! Figured we might as well tell of our adventures and whatnot on here.
So half of summer's already gone by and it's been very busy. It started back in June when the Blood Oath was featured on a shared boutique board at Summer NAMM 2016 with many great builders. We even made new virtual friends. Again, a big shout out to Tomkat Pedals and BIG EAR n.y.c. for making this happen and giving us this opportunity.
We also made two big announcements during the NAMM weekend. The first being that we are releasing two new pedal models by the end of summer. The Locust discrete distortion and the Amaterasu bright/dark pre-amp (artwork and pre-orders coming soon!).
Then we announced that all artwork duties would be taken over by a young designer/illustrator from Montreal named Sam Winsor, starting with a reissue of the Blood Oath overdrive with a complete art overhaul.
About the Locust, the Black Years have been instrumental in testing the final prototype and have been using it always-on during their last tour. Check 'em out. Cool cats.
That's pretty much it for now. We're stoked about launching the Locust in a couple weeks and the Amaterasu a bit later. We're also knee-deep in R&D planning the 2017 line-up - so stay tuned.
On a final, personal note, I spent the last couple years telling everyone I "wasn't much of a Star Wars fan" and then I finally gave in and watched The Force Awakens on Netflix. Then I watched A New Hope. Now I'm off to watch Empire...
